Educational Qualification [கல்வித்தகுதி]
| 1. Senior Scientist and Head -Doctoral degree in Agriculture subject including relevant basic sciences with 8 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band‐3 of Rs. 15600‐39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/ Rs.6000/ Rs.7000/ Rs.8000 having made contribution to research/teaching/ extension education as evidenced by published work/innovations and impact. Essential: a. For disciplines other than Engineering subject Doctoral degree in Agriculture subject including relevant basic science with 8 years experiences in relevant subject Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension specialist or in an equivalent having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension as evidence by published work/ innovations and impact. (Or) b. For Engineering disciplines: Doctoral degree in relevant Agriculture engineering subject with 6 years experiences as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension specialist or in an equivalent position having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension education as evidence by published work/innovations and impact (Or) c. Master degree in relevant Agriculture engineering subject with 10 years experiences as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension specialist or in an equivalent position having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension education as evidence by published work/innovations and impact. Desirable:Specialization in implementing extension education programmes |

Subject Matter Specialist (Horticulture) – Essential: Master’s degree in Horticulture or any other branch of science/social science relevant to Horticulture or Equivalent qualification from a recognized University. Desirable: 1. Two years experience in KVK/Extension Education Project activities from a reputed institution or firm. 2. Working knowledge of computer. |

Programme Assistant (Lab Technician) – Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or any other branch of science/social science relevant to Agriculture or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University. Desirable: 1. Working experience in Soil & Water testing laboratory (or) 2. One year experience in KVK/Extension Education Project activities from a reputed institution or firm. 3. Working knowledge of computer. |

| 5. Stenographer (Grade III) – Essential: 12th class pass or equivalent from recognized Board/University. Professional Efficiency: The candidates will be given one dictation test in English or Tamil at 80 w.p.m. for l0 minutes. The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 50 Minutes on computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Tamil will be required to transcribe the matter 65 minutes on computer. Short Hand is desirable. |

– Candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria should download and print the prescribed Application Form proforma available on http://tnbrdngo.org/.
– Only one application for one post will be accepted, as per‐proforma along with self attested copies of relevant certificates and Rs.25/ stamped self addressed envelope. The photograph should be self attested.
– The envelope containing the application form should be superscribed in bold letters as ‘APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF____________________________________________________’.
– Local language (Tamil) is preferable.
– Name of the post for which applied must be clearly indicated on the envelope along with sender’s name and address. Application should be addressed to the “THE PRESIDENT, TAMIL NADU BOARD OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT, Post Box No. 8811, T. Nagar, Chennai – 600 017, Tamil Nadu.”
