POWERGRID Recruitment 2025 – 1543 Field Engineer & Field Supervisor Vacancies: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna PSU, has announced a large, all-India recruitment drive for 1,543 posts on a fixed-term contract basis. The vacancies include Field Engineer (Civil) and Field Supervisor (Electrical, Civil, Electronics & Communication). Applications are invited online from 27 August 2025 (5:00 PM) to 17 September 2025 (11:59 PM). Selection will be through a common FTE Written Test 2025 followed by Interview. Full-time B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc.(Engg.) in Civil with 60% marks from a recognized university.
Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in construction/testing & commissioning/civil works in RE/DMS/ST/TLs/Sub-stations, etc.
Field Supervisor (Electrical)
Full-time Diploma in Electrical (or equivalent) with 55% marks from a recognized Technical Board. Higher technical degree (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech) not allowed for Supervisor posts.
Experience in power sector preferred.
Field Supervisor (Civil)
Full-time Diploma in Civil with 55% marks from a recognized Technical Board. Higher technical degree not allowed for Supervisor posts.
Experience in power sector preferred.
Field Supervisor (Electronics & Communication)
Full-time Diploma in Electronics & Communication / Electrical / Information Technology (or equivalent) with 55% marks.
Experience in maintenance of Tele-Communication systems preferred.
✅ Selection Process
Stage 1 – Common FTE Written Test 2025: 1 hour; MCQs; Technical (50 Qs) + Aptitude (25 Qs). No negative marking. Qualifying marks: UR/EWS – 40%; Reserved – 30%. Test centres Pan-India; date to be notified on website.
Stage 2 – Interview: Shortlisting based on written test performance. Interview qualifying marks: UR/EWS – 40%; Reserved – 30%. Final merit is drawn purely on Interview performance, category-wise and Region/Project-wise (1:5 ratio, where applicable). Document verification & medical standards apply before engagement.
